Get With The Program: Reprogramming Our Minds With Intention and Evading Mass Psychosis
The truth about your mind's programming is both unsettling and empowering. Your neural pathways—shaped by childhood experiences, media consumption, and repetitive thoughts—determine your reality much like a computer's operating system dictates its functions.
It's been argued that we are living amid a widespread mental manipulation that Carl Jung and modern psychologists recognize as mass psychosis—an epidemic of madness where society becomes untethered from reality. The mechanisms are sophisticated: waves of fear interspersed with calm periods, contradictory information that confuses rational thinking, and constant digital overstimulation that prevents reflection. This "menticide," or killing of the mind, renders us susceptible to control by those who profit from our confusion.
Modern evolutionary biology reveals that collaboration, not competition, drives successful evolution—contrary to the distorted Darwinian "survival of the fittest" narrative that keeps us stressed, isolated, and anxious while benefiting only the privileged few. Meanwhile, screens function as digital opiates, delivering dopamine hits that create addiction cycles while preventing deeper self-reflection.
The good news? Neural plasticity works both ways. The same repetition that programmed limiting beliefs can be harnessed through intentional affirmations to reshape your neural connections. Faith and fear both require believing in something unseen, but they create vastly different realities—one manifests heaven on earth, the other hell. By recognizing ourselves as spiritual beings having a physical experience, we can reprogram our minds to align with our true nature and the universal order.

Hello everyone and welcome to the seventh episode of the Manhattan Prophet podcast. I am the Manhattan Prophet. Thank you all who have joined with your support in this battle for truth and empowerment, who are standing up for freedom both internally and in the world around us. As a reminder, so that nothing is lost in translation, I'm here to ensure that all knowledge I give you finds meaning in a practical place in your everyday lives. It's only through properly digesting knowledge, in this case of ourselves and the world around us, that we see things clearly enough to break old patterns of behavior and begin a new path forward to a heightened state of consciousness. Today we are going to discuss the idea of programming Programming our minds and coming to terms with the fact that we receive information all the time that impacts our understanding of everything.
Speaker 1:A human being is programmable. It's, in our nature, very similar to a computer. In fact, we are developing much of the neural networking of artificial intelligence around the mapping of our own neural networks. Our inputs from the world around us determine what we will output. This output is the movie you are directing and which you identify as yourself. These outputs collectively will create the human condition and the aggregate. So, like a computer.
Speaker 1:If a human being has a faulty operating system, which is basically what controls what happens on the computer, how programs get launched, how memory is used, then you get a faulty human being, a human being who doesn't know how best to govern him or herself and live an optimal life internally and in the world around them. A computer's operating system's viability, for example, is determined by the formatting of the hard drive. This can be compared to a child's formative years, the first five or six years of their life. Notice the use of the word formative. It's like the format years, like a format on a hard drive. At this time in a child's life, the parents and what they see in the immediate environment determine the programming they receive. Let's say the developers or the parents didn't really care about programming them correctly. Do you think that the computer or the child is going to operate properly and have the constitution and consciousness that is optimal? What happens when parents don't put the programming as a priority or simply don't have the time to do it and leave it up to the media sources and social media to provide that child with their understanding of the world around them. Well, what happens is it will contribute to a deteriorating condition on a mass scale.
Speaker 1:Like a computer, the behavior of a human being largely depends upon its programming, and its programming is the quality of the information that is being inputted into it. This then determines the quality of the output, the output in this case being the general moral values, way of life and collective consciousness of the society at large. So if crap goes in, guess what Crap comes out? We really are complex and beautifully balanced beings if we choose to respect that balance and not use ourselves or allow ourselves to be used the way we have been. So what are the things we put into human beings and by human beings I mean children and adults alike that are crucial?
Speaker 1:Well, what I consider to be extremely important is correct information or knowledge. Knowledge is going to lead to understanding or a lack of understanding of your world. If you have a correct understanding, rooted in true knowledge, then decision-making skills will be on track. Let's discuss the state of the world and the effects of our programming to date. I think it's self-evident to see we are not as highly evolved as we think we are and that we are pretty low on the evolutionary spectrum as a civilization. I would go so far as to say we were living not just under a great veil of deception, an illusion perpetrated by others and by ourselves, but under a mild psychosis on a mass scale, as a result of the power structures that provide us the lens through which to view the world and due to our lack of knowledge about who we truly are. We have, however, not evolved consciously enough to see the true nature of ourselves and permit this nature to be the governing compass for our consciousness, for our understanding of the world around us.
Speaker 1:Let's look into what mass psychosis, from a clinical and sociological standpoint, looks like. It's effectively an epidemic of madness, and it occurs when a large portion of a society loses touch with reality and descends into a delusional understanding of themselves and the world around them. A well-known example of this is the American witch hunts of the 17th century. During these witch hunts, thousands of women were killed, not for any crimes they committed, but because they became scapegoats of society gone mad. Well-known psychologist Carl Jung studied this phenomenon and wrote that individuals who make up the infected society become morally and spiritually inferior. They sink unconsciously to an inferior intellectual level. They become more unreasonable, irresponsible, emotional, erratic and unreliable. What makes matters worse is that those suffering from a mass psychosis are unaware of what's Thank you for watching is a flood of negative emotions, such as fear or anxiety, which drives an individual into a state of panic, when, in a state of panic, an individual will naturally seek relief as it is too mentally and physically draining to exist consciously in this hyper-emotional state. But as illusions take many forms and as madness can manifest in countless ways, the specific manner in which a mass psychosis unfolds will differ based on the historical and cultural context of that society.
Speaker 1:The general method by which those who yield power can accomplish this is called menticide, which the etymology of the word is a killing of the mind. As doctor and psychoanalyst Juste Mierleu further explains, menticide is an old crime against the human mind and spirit, but systemized anew. It is an organized system of psychological intervention and judicial perversion through which a ruling class can imprint their opportunistic thoughts upon the minds of those it plans to use. Priming a population for the crime of menticide begins with the sowing of fear, so as to place a population into the state of panic that primes the sowing of fear, so as to place a population into the state of panic that primes them for descent into the delusionary beliefs of a psychosis. A particularly effective technique to accomplish this end is to use waves of terror like, for example, threats of terrorism or fires or wars. Under this technique, the sowing of fear is staggered with periods of calm, but each of these periods of calm is followed by the manufacturing of an event even more intense, and on and on. The process goes, or, as Mirlu writes, each wave of terrorizing creates its effects more easily after a breathing spell than the one that preceded it, because people are more disturbed by their previous experience. Morality becomes lower and lower, and the psychological effects of each new propaganda campaign becomes stronger. It reaches a public already softened up, while fear primes the population for menticide.
Speaker 1:The use of propaganda to spread misinformation and to promote confusion with respect to the source of the threats and the nature of the crisis helps break down the minds of the masses. Government officials and their lackeys in the media can use contradictory reports, nonsensical information, even blatant lies, as the more they confuse, the less capable will a population be to cope with the crisis and diminish their fear in a rational, adaptive manner. Confusion, in other words, heightens the susceptibility of a descent into these illusions. Logic can be met with logic, while illogic cannot. It confuses those who think straight. The big lie and monotonously repeated nonsense have more of an emotional appeal than logic and reason. Never before in history have such effective means existed to manipulate a society into this psychosis. We have smartphones, social media, television, the internet, all in conjunction with bots that spread propaganda and algorithms that quickly censor the flow of unwanted information and allow for those in power to assault minds of the masses.
Speaker 1:And as this bombardment continues, society is left with no rest, no meditation, no reflection, no conversation, no critical thinking. The senses are continually overloaded and misinformation and narratives are perpetrated. The never-ending stream of propaganda turns minds of once capable, rational thinkers into irrational individuals, chaos swirling around their minds and within them. But people crave a return to a more ordered world. The ruling class can now take the decisive step. They can offer a way out, a return to the world order that they remember.
Speaker 1:But this comes at a price. They must give up their freedom and cede control of certain aspects of their life to the ruling elite, like, for example, legislation that's passed where you lose freedom, or you grant the government invasive freedom, like the I don't know Patriot Act, for example. By the way, these laws, they don't get repealed, they're put in place and they're never ceded, whether gradually or suddenly. Reason and common human decency are no longer possible in such a system. It's only a pervasive atmosphere of terror, a projection of the enemy that's imagined in our minds. They're always in the mist. Thus society turns on itself, urged on by the ruling authorities. We have this boogeyman in society, the terrorists that are everywhere. We have to fight these wars because of the terrorists who hate us for our freedoms.
Speaker 1:And if a society has been induced into the early stages of this mass psychosis, can the effects be reversed? While no one can ever be sure of the prognosis of collective madness, there are steps that can be taken to help effectuate a cure. This task, however, necessitates many different approaches from many people, for just as a menticidal attack is multi-pronged, so too must be the counterattack. According to Carl Jung, for those of us who wish to help return sanity to an insane world, the first step is to bring order to our own individual minds and to live in a way that provides inspiration for others to follow.
Speaker 1:One input that has definitely been at the forefront of our delusional reality is the lie that there is a scarcity or simply a lack of resources, that the prices we pay for things are justified and based on some real supply-demand model. Truth be told, there has never been a scarcity of resources. We fix diamond prices. We fix precious metal prices. We fix oil prices. What do you think OPEC is? They're a cabal that manipulates the prices of oil, which is abundant all over the earth. This is to enrich themselves and to screw the consumers over. Go check this out for yourself. This happens in broad daylight.
Speaker 1:Another example of a pervasive misunderstanding of who we are and how our society is best run is easily seen with the flawed but mass accepted darwinian notion of the survival of the fittest as being the best way to order the world. It's actually comical and quite sick to think that this is what Darwin proposed, not just because it has been proven to be biologically false with modern-day empirical data, but also because Darwin hailed from an elitist class of society. He was playing the game of survival of the fittest, if you will, with a fixed deck. His theory works great for those who are born with a silver spoon or on third base, etc. But for everyone else it's grossly unfair. It's like playing a game of basketball one-on-one and forcing your opponent to tie a hand behind his or her back and saying that the outcome is determined by survival of the fittest. It's simply a flawed model in understanding it. We accept it as gospel. In fact, the Darwinian notion that people are naturally driven towards chasing individual gains at the expense of others and that using that egotistical motivation as the most straightforward and fastest way to success in evolution is flawed.
Speaker 1:Darwin admitted that in his theories about evolution and natural selection he looked at the doctrine of Malthus, an influential economic thinker of the time. Malthus said that population growth caused a struggle for survival in the lower economic classes because resources did not keep up. Darwin used this doctrine to explain what he had seen on his travels researching animals around the globe and decided it applied with manifold force to the whole animal and vegetable kingdom. In other words, his reasoning started with the belief in pre-Victorian societal values, which he then applied to what he observed in nature, not the other way around. The important self-serving distinction here is where Malthus believed in divine intervention to keep populations stable, darwin believed in nature.
Speaker 1:We need to carefully look at modern evolutionary biology to realize we have to relentlessly pursue human collaboration to save our planet and ourselves. In the last 50 plus years, the majority of biologists have challenged the notion of competition for survival as the main driver behind evolutionary success. They, en masse instead point to a myriad of examples of intricate collaborative systems within and between species that help them evolve and thrive. It's becoming abundantly clear that the survival of the fittest model only works for a few and not for a long period of time. Only works for a few and not for a long period of time.
Speaker 1:And of course, there is the other, not-so-small problem of what we are doing to our mental health and well-being by creating constant competition in our daily lives and the workplace. It makes us all more stressed, since, even if we are good at winning, we are also keenly aware that it may not last. It makes us more isolated, less trusting, less giving and more anxious. Our mere existence is under constant threat. Furthermore, although we hear this saying all the time, life is a game. Life is not a game, and the present day, stakes are very high. It's people's lives that are on the line.
Speaker 1:Working together starts by us first accepting the fact that we are all a collective consciousness, living our lives distinctly in this reality. The more we seek to divide and force competition, the more our values become eroded. The more we live under fear and stress and anxiety, the more we stifle ourselves and our evolution of consciousness. We have to learn to collaborate, not compete, not just for the macro-well-being of our civilization's trajectory, but for ourselves as individuals, mentally and spiritually. To be clear, this does not erode the fundamental nature of of my belief in capitalism and in capitalism's ability to push this great nation on a path forward to greater progress and productivity. But capitalism in its current state is a perversion.
Speaker 1:Let's look now at how media has directly contributed to our programming and resulting psychosis. Screens are engineered to occupy the mind and consume attention, leaving little room for deep self-reflection, meditation or personal growth. It is endless entertainment, social media scrolling and video games to create a dopamine-driven addiction, keeping people in a cycle of short-term pleasure rather than long-term awareness. There's also the illusion of knowledge. Hollywood and mainstream media feed people curated, distorted information, making them believe they are informed, while actually keeping them ignorant of deeper truths. Documentaries, news and entertainment educate people with controlled narratives, preventing them from questioning fundamental truths about history, reality and human potential.
Speaker 1:Remarkably real spiritual teachings are distorted or hidden in fantasy and science fiction, making them seem unattainable or purely fictional. Instead of discussing the power of human consciousness, movies glorify superheroes and supernatural beings, subtly programming people to believe that only special or chosen people can access hidden abilities and that these hidden abilities are a function of impossible physical traits or abilities. Nothing routed in the true, magical abilities of human beings. We have normalized a society to becoming constantly distracted. We have normalized a society to becoming constantly distracted. We directly promote materialism over everything else, over spirituality, over understanding, over knowledge. Hollywood and advertising push material success, fame and external validation as the highest goals in life, the apex. They reinforce the belief that happiness and fulfillment come from money, beauty and status, rather than inner peace, wisdom, enlightenment. Movies and TV often portray spiritual seekers as crazy, lost or dangerous, discouraging people from pursuing deeper knowledge.
Speaker 1:There's abject mind control through blue light and frequencies. Screens emit blue light which disrupt natural sleep cycles and affect the brain's ability to function at an optimal level, reducing critical thinking and internal awareness. Certain frequencies emitted through television and digital media are suspected to alter brainwave states, keeping people in a more suggestible docile condition. Let's face it, it hypnotizes us. The combination of Hollywood, mass media and modern technology has created the most effective distraction system in history, one that keeps people from awakening to their true power. But once you see the illusion for what it is, you can choose a different path. You can choose to cure yourself from this psychosis. Let's look at some ways we can better program ourselves, using a proper lens for viewing the world around us and understanding ourselves internally.
Speaker 1:We first need to accept the fact that we are not material beings and that this existence is an illusion. My last episode I broke down for you that this has been known for millennia, but that we now have scientific proof of this through quantum physics. We, however, have not adjusted our lives and our consciousness to incorporate these facts, these proven scientific facts. We still view ourselves as these material beings. We only treat our physical and mental illness as if we are material beings. We live our lives focused myopically on our physical bodies. We worship the external world and structure our lives around consumption and materialism. If we are these spiritual, vibratory beings, then why do we not live our lives as though we are?
Speaker 1:This is our time to evolve consciously, and we do that with knowledge, especially knowledge of how to improve our lives under this new paradigm of understanding ourselves and the world around us. As a result, it's all about the input, still our programming. We are not anchored to the programming we receive as children and that which we receive as adults. We are not imprisoned by the way we have lived. Consciously. We can change, and if you do, your world will change drastically for the better. Why? Well, because you're aligning with your natural state, a state that is aligned with the universe. So you might ask who do I go to see to find the secret formula to improve and experience a better life? Who's the yogi, the doctor, the specialist, the preacher? Here's the best part you need look no further than yourself. I'm going to explain to you why and provide you with a simple way to begin to take back control of your mind, to reformat, to reprogram your understanding of your world. Begin to take back control of your mind, to reformat, to reprogram your understanding of your world. We kickstart this process using the same methods of repetition that are used against us, to control us, to set us free.
Speaker 1:Repetition is one of the most powerful tools in shaping perception, belief and, ultimately, our reality. From affirmations and advertising to music and media, repeated exposure to specific words, phrases and ideas ingrains them in our subconscious mind, whether used, intentionally or passively absorbed. Repetition rewires our neural pathways, reinforcing thought patterns that influence emotions, behaviors and even identity. Understanding the mechanisms behind repetition allows us to harness its power deliberately, rather than becoming passive recipients of external programming. Repetition strengthens neural connections through a process known as neuroplasticity the brain's ability to reorganize itself by forming new connections. The more frequently a thought or behavior is reinforced, the stronger the neural pathway becomes, making it easier for the brain to default to that pattern. This is why repeated affirmations can shift self-perception and why repeated negative thoughts can shift self-perception and why repeated negative thoughts can become self-fulfilling prophecies. From a biological standpoint, the brain operates on efficiency. Repetition signals importance, prompting the brain to automate certain thoughts and behaviors. This is why habits, both positive and negative, become deeply ingrained over time. Neuroscientists also recognize that repetition engages the dopamine-producing systems, meaning that repeated experiences, especially pleasurable ones, create reward loops that reinforce behavior.
Speaker 1:Advertisers use repetition to create familiarity and trust. The more a brand is seen or their slogan is heard, the more legitimate and desirable it becomes, the more comfortable we become with that brand as a consumer. Politicians and influencers leverage repetition to normalize certain ideologies, making them appear widely acceptable and unquestionable. What if I told you this? Repetition and things you hear, words you say and thoughts you think are literally shaping your life, your reality, from why we take the actions we take to why certain people and experiences enter or leave our lives. The power of words is well understood by advertisers, marketers, psychologists. Why not use this power to shape your own life with intention?
Speaker 1:Music is a particularly powerful vessel for words because it embeds into our subconscious. When we sing lyrics, whether uplifting or destructive, we are in a sense affirming and inviting those themes into our lives. Repeated exposure to certain messages through music can shape our emotions, thoughts and even behaviors, reinforcing the idea that we must be mindful of what we listen to and speak aloud. Does this make you rethink the music you are listening to. Our subconscious mind does not differentiate between who is speaking. It simply hears words and absorbs them. This means that every lyric we sing, every phrase we repeat and every affirmation we internalize becomes part of our self-perception. When we sing along to songs, we are essentially speaking to ourselves, reinforcing those messages, whether we realize it or not. This is why our surroundings and environment matter. The words, the music, the media we expose ourselves to. They shape our thoughts, our emotions and our reality.
Speaker 1:If our subconscious mind absorbs things, without question, it is vital to be intentional about what we allow into our mental space. So, if you're letting other people influence you, your actions and decisions, wouldn't you rather have control over it and do it your own way? I know you would. Wouldn't you rather have control over it and do it your own way? I know you would. And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why affirmations are actually powerful. You are repeating words, hearing them, speaking them, thinking them over and over again and, like we mentioned earlier, repetition fosters belief. If you start saying nice, empowering things to yourself daily, you start to believe them. Belief here is key when it comes to manifestation, when it comes to true happiness, fulfillment or living the life you want to, the one you deserve to live.
Speaker 1:Belief and faith are the foundation of transformation, because they shape our perception, actions and reality itself. Having faith is more than just hoping something will happen. It is the certainty that it already exists in some form. When you believe something with unwavering conviction, your mind no longer sees it as a possibility. It sees it as inevitable. This shift changes the way you think, speak and act, aligning you with the very outcomes you desire. The frequency you vibrate internally will mirror externally. You are no longer wanting more and more constantly wanting, but rather you believe it is already yours. And that's when you start to attract it. You don't chase it, you attract it. This doesn't just apply to the guy you want to date or the girl you want to sleep with. It applies to every aspect of life relationships, money, success, abundance, luck, etc. I promise it's much easier to live your life this way.
Speaker 1:By the way, faith and fear both require you to believe something you don't physically see. Keep in mind, fear is a low, low frequency. It's manifesting a hell-like earth and reality, while faith in yourself and the universe is manifesting a heaven-like earth and reality. Which one would you choose If you start seeing yourself as the true, magical spiritual being you are, then the world is your oyster, not your prison.
Speaker 1:As you continue listening to the Manhattan Prophet podcast, I'm going to unveil the true nature of the world that exists right under your nose.
Speaker 1:I'm going to analyze with you, out in the open, the systems at play here and the ways we can grow together and evolve. I'm going to provide you with real-world conscious ways to touch higher levels of consciousness and understand through truth and knowledge. I want to make this clear I do not own these truths. I do not own this knowledge. I'm simply extracting it and distilling it for you in an accessible form. I ask not that you follow me blindly, but rather that you follow me with your open mind and heart, a following of truth and safety and freedom through this truth. I'm proud of you for taking this next step and trusting me as your guide. Episodes are updated weekly.
